The animations are smooth, most can be dash canceled which makes it easy to dodge. The 60% shield from transformation (and the 50% shield from fiery escape) is VERY nice everywhere there is chip damage or dots. The general squishyness of the class makes him binary tho: you are either full life and shielded or dead.Sorc and shadow hunter were amazing feeling when I tried in the RU servers. Like the screen just blows up playing sorc. Blade was really fun going in and out of combat. Gunlancer was fun being able to just face tank with your shield up and still do good damage and have cool abilities. Seems super fun and engaging, and has a skill ceiling high enough that you can sink time into and constantly get better. I never really played dps in most MMOs since I like being invited to parties. As far as I can tell, that’s less of an issue here since there is no real holy trinity.Artillerist isn't really that ranged. I play close/mid. Very high stagger and destruction. Need good knowledge of mechanics due to attack delays. But I've played all the classes and I have the most fun playing the Artillerist. It is slow to level up and the class doesn't get fluid till t3. .
