This morning I plugged it in and squeezed the trigger and the unit violently hummed and rattled. After trying a few times the breaker in my panel popped. FYI I use a regular push gun on aluminum. I am taking a lunch break and going out to weld more of it. A teflon liner is a must. Use 5356 wire 4043 is to soft trust me I have a roll in mine right now. The problem is usually too much pressure on the nut (maybe a wing nut) that holds the wire spool in place. But check the whole feed path - only takes a minute or two. Its a wel pak 100 door but its not a weld pak 100. It doesnt have the tap amp dial like it suggests, it has the continuous adjustment knob on top. My second , a Lincoln SP125 Plus, lots of years ago. Use it weekly. I mainly do body panel rust repair on vintage sports cars, ie thicker carbon steel. My son is 50 miles away with projects too. I need to stage a welder there.
