Advantages are that you get more guilds, more people in cities and trade chat, and a healthy economy (though that is not faction-specific). It's been tilting more to horde pretty strongly since BFA and warmode after being nearly perfectly 50/50 during WoD and much of Legion but it's still far better then the other rp servers. Like take Moon Guard, one of the largest Alliance RP realms however almost a good portion of the population is stuck in Goldshire not really contributing to the realm. All US servers are hosted in 3 data centers, located in Chicago, Los Angeles and Sydney. OCE realms are hosted in Sydney and all Latin American / Brazilian realms in Chicago. Im looking for horde server with a thriving server and a good economy, English speaking potentially large UK based ...So for example your realm might follow Central time zone but the datacenter the realm belongs to could be in LA. I found this information on wow wiki. They had a list on thier website as well but they included that it might not be up to date. Not a New York data center. There's usually guilds and communities dedicated to it, and people use addons such as TRP to write profiles and so on to supplement the experience. On EU the only "real" RP server left is Argent Dawn, the rest are either dead or are RP realms only in name. It's majority Alliance but plenty of Horde stuff too.Silvermoon, sylvanas, Ravencrest, agent dawn (rp) from memory. That's ArgentDawn. Shows population per side for all servers. Silvermoon, Ravencrest (though it's way smaller than Silvermoon) and potentially Argent Dawn if RP interests you. The remaining English realms are either small or Horde-dominated. Nice balance with good RP, PVP, and PVE guilds. If interested, join horde and look for Wolves and Ravens guild (awesome people that help newcomers level). What I'd do is travel back in time and find one in 2006 for that best wow tbc experience. Also keep in mind server location your ping will be better on a server located in the east if u live on east coast area 52 and illidan are better east zone areas and tichondrius is west coast server but u can still play on them regardless but will suffer usually 30 higher ping I live in east and play on a west coast server and ping is at 90ms ...10.
